The Mycological Institute for Study of Fungal Mold in Human Habitations N.A. is a private not for profit educational and scientific research institute.

We have certified municipal, state and federal employees and  provide advanced training to those that are   *Qualified Professionals (QP) that already have some training  and at least one year of experience in health, building or related  inspections including  industrial hygiene. See about our eligibility for free certification programs .  NOTE: All certification program participants are given full credit for previous related experience. Example if you are a health professional, officer, inspector or investigator you may be given up to 50% CE towards certification.

    Our training is customized for your needs. We have 2, 4 and 8 hour courses available on short notice with training material for your project needs. Completion of specialized presentations  will provide you with a certificate of completion.  Our experienced mold professionals and mycologists will prepare you and your personnel with the training needed. Minimum class size of 4. 

    Advanced Mold Inspection 

    For those who have taken Internet inspection courses and have had little or no experience we can provide you with an experienced mycologist and inspector to further your education. If you have some experience and wish to expand your knowledge we have hands on training in one of our fungal mold molecular biology labs for more of the advanced fungal mold analytical techniques and training.
