Confidential, cost effective Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Sick Office Syndrome Investigations for Building Related Illness, Mold Health Risk Testing, Air Quality Sampling and Toxicological Testing

IN GENERAL AMERICAN BUSINESS OFFICES ARE THE HEALTHIEST AND SAFEST PALCES TO WORK IN BUT AT TIMES EMPLOYEES FEEL ILL WITH COMMON OFFICE COMPLAINTS INCLUDING  HEAD RINGING BODY SENSATION ITCHING WEAKNESS DIZZYNESS RHINOSINUSITIS CONJUNCTIVITIS RESPIRATORY RELATED TO AIR QUALITY OR TOXICITY. WE FIND OUT IF THERE IS ANYTHING THAT MUST BE DONE TO REMEDIATE THE CAUSITIVE FINDINGS IF THEY EXIST. MANAGEMENT NOR EMPLOYEES MUST NEVER SELF DIAGNOSE.

We have helped many large and small businesses. When due diligence is required in cases where there are reported unexplained complaints, illness and absence of workers? Employees complain they feel better neurological or physically when away form work office or place? Hearing sounds, vibration, odors, coughing, sneezing or having been diagnoses with new allergies, sinusitis, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, otitis, dermatitis or respiratory distress? Nearly all of these factors may not be detectable by occupants in areas of their environments. If you are experiencing any such or highly suspect such then one of our highly differentiated and integrated subClinical Investigation ® are order.

We routinely investigate medical offices, schools, daycare centers, banks, law offices, chemical process and manufacturing environments to answer your company's question and we can formulate the analytical approach to that winch concerns your organization. All done in confidence at your convenience and schedule. Call us for a free initial consultation. Our world class clinical environmental scientific group is available in the US and EU for your select subClinical Investigation ®

Sick buildings have been with us and recognized for thousands of years. We find early in LEVITICUS XIV: XXIII-LVII a mold plaguing a home owner that calls upon the inspector (priest) to determine if it is a mold (plague upon a home) and the practices in those times used in identification with a prescription for its remediation and abatement.

Since that time (wo)man has been dealing with this type of an infection and disease in a home, workplace, office or other habitations.

Mold gets a lot of press but all too often the problem is not mold but other factors. With our Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Analysis using the state of the science we use to investigate, test and correct IAQ. Problems such as mold, bacteria, chemicals, allergens, radiation, sub and ultra sound, asbestos and lead. If at home or work employees or building occupants are complaining of poor air quality an increase in illnesses as colds, flu, asthma, weakness, burning eyes, itching skin, rashes, sore throats, allergies, lethargy, or headaches.

We will provide a full inspection of buildings and their HVAC systems including air handlers, filters, ductwork, crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, air intakes, and exhausts. for the presence of mold or bacteria that may be adversely affecting building occupants. Air quality testing for mold, bacteria, mycotoxins and endotoxins.

A complete building inspection also identifies the presence of clinically relevant mold and bacteria.

We will identify the problem and provide a remediation and abatement plan detailing what needs to be done to correct the situation.

We  do not sell any services so there is no bias in our reports to sell you such. We will only provide your with tested and proven remediators ONLY IF YOU ASK US.

We provide four levels of investigative services:

INITIAL ONSITE  ASSESSMENT

  1. A preliminary consultation before any on-site visit to obtain information on the property, history, occupants, type of activity, complaints and what if any complaints of reported and illnesses.
  2. A Indoor Air Quality assessment of the areas of concern . Including an inspection of the HVAC systems. Photographic documentation of areas investigated with sampling.
  3. Testing for general indoor parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and total volatile organic compounds. These parameters will be measured with direct reading instruments.
  4. Air samples may be collected in order to ascertain levels of airborne particles such as mold/fungal elements and spores, opaque particles, skin cell fragments, dust and fibers. This testing will define the nature of particles present.
  5. Mold testing will be performed to test for the presence of airborne microorganisms.
  6. Any chemical agents, identified during the preliminary information gathering, will be sampled.
  7. Preparation of a written report of our findings and recommendations for corrective actions where problems have been identified.
  8. Expert Witness or litigation support if legal action has already  commenced. We routinely get dismissals for corporate defendants.

IN DEPTH INVESTIGATION

Where situations cannot be resolved by a Phase I evaluation, and the extent of the problem is greater than anticipated, or more testing and evaluation is necessary; a Phase II Investigation would be performed. Each situation is unique, but the following are some of the tests that could be performed.

  1. More extensive examination of the interior of the HVAC System including opening ductwork (we can cut openings that can later be sealed) and test for molds, bacteria or chemicals.
  2. Continuous monitoring of basic air quality parameters (CO2, CO, Temp. RH) - 24 hrs/day for up to 14 days.
  3. Testing and analysis of airborne bacteria;/fungi (Bioaerosol's), Mycotoxins or Endotoxins.
  4. Microscopic assays - Air-O-Cells and Transparent Tape Imprints for mold mold, bacteria, fibers, dander, or pollen.
  5. Particulate assays - microscopic identification of fibers, pollens, fungi, or asbestos.
  6. Chemical assays - Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's), specific chemicals and identification of unknown (odors) air gases that may be present.
  7. Indoor allergens - dust mites, cat and dog dander, cockroach allergens, endotoxins.

REMEDIATION PLANNING

If problems exist  we can participate in corrective measures ONLY IF NECESSARY.. Using your contractors, we can provide remediation guidance if needed. We will only make contractor referrals if asked.

  1. Oversight of abatement or remediation.
  2. Final air sampling, mold or bacteria sampling and analysis to insure clean-up was complete.

POST REMEDIATION EFFICACY ANALYSIS AND VALIDATION REPORT

After the work is done we come in to verify the work required has been performed and certify the work is completed and effective and will provide a final report.

Our certified medical mycologist/aerobiologist is a recognized expert in the identification of fungal molds that affect humans that cause asthma, allergies and disease/mycosis.
